It feels good!

To see someone from your past that intimidates you AND at first you want to bolt. You could bolt and no one would be the wiser. But mid turn you stop.
I did that.
I think I even said aloud, "No way! I'm not running!" I instead held my head high and I walked up to this person. I approached her. She looked shocked. We had a pleasant conversation. I walked away and thought to myself, "I didn't even suck my gut in, so there!"

Call it maturity, some things are getting easier. I bought new tennis shoes yesterday. I don't know why, but the cute women's shoes have never been comfortable. I like men's shoes. I would like to wear the adorable pink and brown New Balance, but I'm all about comfort.
